On July 26th, J. Wood Platt Caddie Scholarship Trust held our first annual EMPOWER Scholar Leadership Summit at Union League Liberty Hill, which featured keynote speaker Kevin Negandhi ESPN’s SportsCenter/ ESPN College Football on ABC).
Scholar engagement was excellent! There were over 100 JWP Scholars in attendance who enjoyed a terrific day of networking, leadership discussion, and celebration! The morning started off with breakfast and mingling of scholars, a chipping contest, giveaways, and a program that included J. Wood Platt Alumni and Kevin Negandhi. His message was powerful and relevant to our scholars. We have countless thank you notes from our scholars recognizing the importance of the day!
