J. Wood Platt’s Bag Tag Club has been the Trust’s primary source of funding for our Scholars.  When you become a member with a donation of $250 or more, you’ll receive a personalized bag tag showcasing your support of the Trust.  Bag tags are distributed in early spring for display throughout the golf season.

We are proud to announce the J. Wood Platt 1958 Alumni Society, recognizing the strength in our community of over 3,200 Alumni.  We thank you for joining us in support of our current and future Scholars.

Enables donors to make lasting contributions to the Trust. A $10,000 level of giving grants the donor membership in the Trust’s Lifetime Club. The funds generated from the Program are deposited in a special permanent endowment, from which only the income generated will be used for scholarships.  The establishment of this endowment now provides the Trust with an important source of permanent funding. Contributions are most commonly made in one initial investment or over a four-year period with installments of $2,500 per year.

Allows Lifetime members, who have met their $10,000 pledge, to annually contribute a minimum of $1,000. Funds are unrestricted and will be used toward current operations.

Through endowment gifts, our most generous supporters make an indelible impact on the future of the Trust.  A fully funded endowment of $50,000 allows the Trust to benefit from sustained funding for generations to come.  Donors may customize scholarship parameters to align with their philanthropic goals.  Endowed Scholars are selected for their qualifications, as well as their demonstrated skills and achievements.

Memorial and honor gifts carry emotional significance and serve as a meaningful way to remember loved ones, celebrate milestones, and make a positive difference in the world in their name.  The Trust will notify families and honorees of your support.
