Position Summary | Reliant is seeking a Networking Summer Intern, who will assist our Networking & Engineering Manager. This motivated and detail-oriented candidate will assist in providing technical support to our clients, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring smooth operations of our clients’ IT systems. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop his/her skills in Networking, IT, and Client Relations on a fast-growing, dynamic team. |
Essential Duties and Responsibilities | Work directly with the Networking & Engineering Manager to provide Level 2 technical support to clients via phone, email, or remote access tools. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, primarily for physical security platforms (cameras, access control, alarms, panic buttons). Perform system maintenance, including updates and patches. Assist with network and server administration troubleshooting. Collaborate with clients’ internal IT teams to ensure timely resolution of issues. Education/Qualifications/Certifications | Hold or in process of seeking a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience. 1+ year of experience in an IT support role Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and networking protocols Experience with Active Directory, Exchange, and VMware (Preferred) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills |
