Position Summary | Continental Refrigerator is a leading manufacturer of commercial refrigeration equipment for the food services industry. Our extensive line of refrigerators, freezers, food preparation tables, keg coolers and milk coolers now includes over 2500 models. We currently have an exciting entry-level, career opportunity in our busy Parts Department. This would be a great position for a recent college graduate looking to get in on the ground floor and learn the industry, or a mechanically inclined person looking for a full-time position in an office environment. You will want to learn as much as you can, as quickly as you can, to put yourself in line for advancement to other positions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities | In this position, you will first learn how to: • Answer incoming calls from customers and service representatives in the field. • Quote Parts. • Verify warranty status. • Enter parts orders that are received via phone, fax and email.After mastering the above, the successful candidate will also learn how to: • Arrange for customers to have warranty service. • Troubleshoot issues with refrigeration equipment, over the phone. |
Education/Qualifications/Certifications | • Quick learner, with the ability to retain what you have learned. • Self-Motivated, Self-Starter. • Four year degree preferred • Excellent verbal communication skills, with a pleasing phone manner. • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. |
