On June 25th at Union League Liberty Hill, J. Wood Platt held our second annual EMPOWER Scholar Leadership Summit, which featured keynote speaker Michael Collins, senior writer and video journalist for ESPN.
Over 100 Platt Scholars joined us for a morning of networking, leadership discussion, contests, and more! The morning started off with breakfast and mingling of scholars, a chipping contest, giveaways, and a program that included J. Wood Platt Alumni Matt Barrett, a video from No Solo, and Michael Collins. Michael Collins opened the floor up for Q&A with our scholars. What an amazing experience for them!
