On December 17, 2022 at Philadelphia Country Club, 190 of the JWP Community gathered to celebrate the Trust during the holiday season for the 2022 J. Wood Platt Caddie Brunch.
The morning started off with a warm greeting from the Secretary of the Trust, Jeffrey Mitzak. Followed by a welcome from Chairwoman, Tina Gregor. The program followed with remarks from the EMPOWER Women’s Endowment Award winner, Francesca Bria, and remarks from the winner of the EMPOWER Leadership Award, Andrew Christensen. Throughout the morning, we also heard from George Whitfield, a high school student that participates in our partnership with Snider Hockey, Lindsay Myers who is the Director of Scholar and Alumni Engagement for the Trust, Executive Director of the Golf Association of Philadelphia, Mark Peterson, and JWP Alumni, Billy Reube and Kevin Gallagher. Todd Barron, Caddie Manger, awarded the Francis C. Poore Caddie of the Year Award to Platt Scholar, Gage Wolfle.
