| Position Summary | The NAVSUP WSS Navy Price Fighters help the Federal Government reduce total ownership cost for Department of Defense procured materiel that encompasses a wide range of items, from piece parts through complete weapon systems. The NAVSUP WSS Navy Price Fighters are a devoted group of engineers, technicians and analysts who provides direct engineering-based cost analyses and contract negotiation support throughout the complete spectrum of acquisition. NAVSUP WSS Navy Price Fighters supports the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, Department of Defense and Civilian Federal Agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security, United States Coast Guard and NASA. | |
| Essential Duties and Responsibilities | Responsible for the execution of tasks associated with the mathematical/analytical evaluation of proposals submitted by defense contractors. Provide analytical guidance, direction and/or strategies for execution of Contract Awards. Support determining compromise and trade-off decisions to meet requirements with resolution of conflicts of cost, schedules and other pertinent factors. Will support assigned projects and programs throughout their life cycle. | |
