
John C. Endicott “Jack”, 80, of Fort Washington, PA, passed away on March 17, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, Jack was the son of the late Ralph and Katherine (nee Thompson) Endicott. He graduated from Upper Dublin High School in 1963, before earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Penn State University in 1967. He began his career as a financial planner and dedicated many years to Equitable Life Insurance and Karr Barth Associates, where he built lasting relationships with clients and colleagues.
A lifelong golfer, Jack was a proud member of both Sandy Run Country Club and Manufacturers’ Golf & Country Club and was a member of the Executive Committee of the Golf Association of Philadelphia (GAP). He was involved in the Jay Wood Platt Caddie-Scholars program, extending his passion for the game beyond the course. An active member of his community, he was involved with the Rotary Club of Jenkintown and was President of the Penn State Abington Advisory Board in 2008, supporting education and service initiatives.
Jack is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Judith (nee Gislason) Endicott. He is the beloved father of Daniel (Erin) Endicott and Katie Endicott and father-in-law to Shannon Ryan. He is the devoted grandfather of Astrid, River and Mira. He is also survived by his sister, Paula (John) Lusska, and his niece and nephew, Amy and John Lusska. He was preceded in death by his son, John Paul Endicott, in 2010.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 4:30-6:00 pm, with memorial remarks at 5:00 pm at Manufacturers’ Golf & Country Club, 511 Dreshertown Rd, Fort Washington, PA 19034.

J. Wood Platt Caddie Scholarship Trust
The J. Wood Platt Caddie Scholarship Trust was created in 1958 and is the charitable arm of GAP (Golf Association of Philadelphia). The J. Wood Platt Caddie Scholarship Trust’s mission is to financially aid and empower qualified caddies and those working in golf operations in the pursuit of higher education. Along with aiding caddies financially, J. Wood Platt’s EMPOWER program strengthens scholarship investment dollars by providing caddies with exceptional benefits and leadership training through access to the wide network of J. Wood Platt donors and alumni. To date, more than 4,200 young men and women have received $29 million in aid from the Trust.
