Broomall, PA – The J. Wood Platt Caddie Scholarship Trust is excited to announce that Tina Gregor has joined the Trust as its new Chief Operating Officer, working alongside Executive Director Mark Peterson to oversee the daily operations of the Trust. Gregor has a commitment to youth development and a passion for expanding higher education opportunities for Scholars with need across the GAP region that made her a clear choice for the role after her time serving as Chair of the organization’s Board of Trustees.

“We at JWP and GAP are thrilled to have Tina join our team in the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer. Her passion for the Trust, the game, and our scholars has been on display during her seven years as Chairwoman,” said Mark Peterson. “We look forward to all the advancements Tina will bring to this role. Her relationships with our scholars and their families during her time as COO will continue to add value to the Trust.”

Gregor brings many years of leadership experience to the table and years of success in nonprofit operations and organizational development. In her new role, she will work closely with Peterson to manage administration, strategic planning and external relations, while leading the JWP staff in furthering the Trust’s mission and vision.

“I am honored to join the J. Wood Platt team and excited about the important work ahead of us”, Gregor said. “The Trust is at a pivotal and exciting stage in its 67-year history. Our growth and expanded vision give us more opportunities to support our Scholars and their families, while serving our community.”

Gregor is highly experienced in the world of golf and philanthropy. As the first female Chairwoman of J. Wood Platt, she has been a key leader in pushing many initiatives forward, including Dawn to Dusk, EMPOWER and Service to Golf programs. Her recognition for raising awareness and reaching more Scholars with financial need throughout the expanding GAP region has helped shape the Trust to what it is today.

As co-founder and Principal of College Pursuit, a company that provides college-bound families with personalized guidance throughout the college selection and admission process, Gregor has significant experience in the world of education. That will no doubt help in her new role as COO as she looks to focus on improving operations, building partnerships, and helping the Trust’s mission grow in the years ahead.
