On Monday, July 14, the J. Wood Platt Caddie Scholarship Trust hosted the EMPOWER Tournament at Wilmington Country Club. The event brought together more than 90 golfers in support of the JWP Women’s Endowment Fund.
Thanks to the generosity of our lead sponsor, The PhamSquad Foundation (The Thompson Family), and all supporting sponsors, the tournament was a tremendous success. But the impact extended far beyond the course. This annual event uplifts and empowers young women in golf by providing vital scholarship support and connecting them with a community of mentors and champions who believe in their future.
More than a tournament, EMPOWER is about opening doors. It creates opportunity, sparks mentorship and helps shape the next generation of leaders.
