On July 30th, the J. Wood Platt Caddie Scholarship Trust hosted its third annual EMPOWER Scholar Leadership Summit at Union League Liberty Hill, featuring keynote speaker Jared Solomon, founder of Five Iron Golf.
Over 130 Platt Scholars attended for a morning filled with networking, leadership discussions, contests, and more! The event kicked off with breakfast and mingling, followed by a chipping contest, giveaways, and a program featuring J. Wood Platt Alumni Matt Barrett, Alex McPherson, and Billy Reube. Our sponsors BLBB Charitable delivered an educational presentation, and the day concluded with a Q&A session with Jared Solomon.
